Yeah what appears to be clouds from Pennsylvania into southern New England is Snow Cover!! There WAS more snow in Southern New England SW into Pennsylvania then to our north!!!
no, matt, they are right.. it is the snowcover in the wrong place, the reason it took me a few seconds is that the first photo which I obtained isn't as clear as the 2nd
I mean obviously its weird to see the snow depth along the coast but none inland. Especially in Philadelphia and points west to the Lehigh Valley but yet no snow in northern Vermont.
But the way Todd said "it took me a few moments"...it seems like something really is wrong with the photo. Something besides the snow depths visible on radar?
Pretty neat how you can see the rivers in and around the Philly and NYC areas cutting through the deep snow cover...
Wait, those aren't clouds! That's SNOW!
Wow, why can't we get a picture like this looped on TV? The satellites they show us are really fuzzy looking compared to this.

I think the island ferries will be going out of business. Either that or we could build the collossus of Cape-MV.

Looks to me like the LACK of snow coverage in Western Mass. & Northern NE
Just my guess.

Whats wrong ............
The excessive snowcover in southern NE and points south. And little if any snowcover seen further north.
